Jada is a Chicago, Illinois native. She obtained a bachelors in Political Science from the University of Illinois and a masters in Political Science with certificates in Public Affairs and Sustainable Development Practice from the University of Florida. She has experience as a Legislative Aid for the Office of Illinois State Representative Carol Ammons, a Campaign Aid for the Alachua Democratic Party, and working with several non-profit organizations such as Big Brothers Big Sisters, The Community Builders, and The Association of Former Members of Congress.

Jada recognizes environmental justice as a human rights issue. She envisions a world in which all people, regardless of race, age, or socioeconomic background, live, work, and engage in communities that are safe, healthy, and free of environmental harms. She is passionate about uniting community members to ensure we are all meaningfully involved in the political decision-making process; while also gaining the knowledge and skillsets necessary to act as agents of our own development and well-being.
