Jessica is from Northern California, As a young adult living in Stockton, CA she began participating in what we call movement work. As a volunteer leader at her then local social justice organization, she quickly fell in love with the work of not only pursuing justice for her community, but the idea of liberation for all people and abolishment of oppressive systems. Her education,work ethic, and passion paved the way for her to become staff. She had the opportunity to Campaign Manage and travel the country doing community engagement work on various political campaigns, serving as Regional Organizing Director and Outreach Specialist. 

At Power U Jessica has the pleasure of leading and supporting the organization’s organizers, to include managing and creating systems and structures that allow us to serve our community members well. She also has the privilege of adding to the growth of  our community relationships and partnerships. Through her work she brings a passion for smiling, structure and support.
