Members gain skills in public communication, facilitation, teamwork, community research and advocacy, training other young people, personal development, and the further enhancement of their skills and talents.
POLITICAL EDUCATION
Members learn more about political advocacy through collective study, research, and analysis of social issues directly impacting young people and their communities. Members learn how past and current policy decisions impact their lived experiences.
CAMPAIGN DEVELOPMENT
Members help execute solution-oriented campaigns that are strategic in working with decision makers to implement policy change. Our campaign strategies have a variety of tactics including meeting with legislators, organizing with teachers, raising awareness through social media, collecting stories, and mobilizing their peers.
INTEGRATED VOTER ENGAGEMENT
Members conduct civic engagement programs in their communities, which expand democratic participation through voter outreach and education work.
FOSTER OVERALL HUMAN DEVELOPMENT
Young people acquire the social, emotional, and civic skills they need to be informed and better prepared to navigate the complexities of life.
INVESTMENT IN OUR COMMUNITIES
Youth, parents, and community members have the ability to engage and participate in the decision-making process, ensuring educational institutions meet the full needs of its students and their respective communities.

Our young people will gain a heightened sense of agency to protect and promote equality and human rights. Youth are given space to develop confidence in their identity and lived experience, so they can practice the transformative leadership needed to be powerful drivers of social change.

Communities have the power to decide how resources are allocated equitably in neighborhoods. Communities address social issues in ways that promote democratic processes and sustain healthy ways of relating to one another.
