We believe a strong democracy is possible when we are able to govern ourselves and all communities are engaged in the process.

In this political moment, there is a lot at stake for all of our communities. Many are worried about what our communities, environment, and democracy will look like. We need leadership that represents the interests of all, not just a few. We feel a better world is possible when working class young people are developed to grab the reins of our society in order to fight for a more equitable society.  

Our Civic Engagement Program seeks to contribute to building that future. Our program trains young people to engage in the following:

• Community Outreach and Community Asset Mapping
• Engaging Diverse Demographics and Identifying community Issues
• Conducting Get Out The Vote (GOTV) Drives, and Influencing local election turnout results.
